Rainbow Run by Guerilla Running

One of our very active local running groups, Guerilla Running,  just posted this amazing event they will be hosting in May. I am completely taken by the concept and wanted to share it with you all.

Guerilla Running’s Rainbow Run:

The world needs more acts of joy for joy’s sake, in our opinion. Join us on May 12 at 9AM for the inaugural RAINBOW RUN! This is a FREE event. It’s not a race… this is a community event with the sole purpose of spreading needed love and happiness!

We will run in and around Olympia (3 & 5 mile options) in rainbow order. Wear black pants and a solid colored shirt (a color of the rainbow). ALL LEVELS! Invite your friends!

Route will be announced soon. We want to be sure our route takes us past places that could use a boost of color and joy!

Ahhhh-mazing! Color, joy, love, running – this is all the sweet stuff that Run Pretty Far is made of. Kudos to Guerilla Running for creating such a cool event. I hope if you live the area you will consider joining the event:
