Bright colored packages tied up with string…

…these are a few of my favorite things!

You know those lovely tumblr sites and delicious culinary blogs where they post photos so perfect, so well-lit, that a tablespoon of raw sugar can you make you weep? Or a bowl of avocados becomes a thing of rare beauty? Yeah – I love those too. And this my friends is not that.

But we do still deal in lots of pretty things around here and when I saw this pile of packages all wrapped up and ready to be shipped out yesterday I HAD to have Greg snap a pic. There is not much better then crisp tissue paper, a whisp of thin string, and a colorful card promising goodness inside.

Can a ‘thing’ make you happy? Of course not silly – we know that happiness comes from within.  But can it make you shriek with delight? Absolutely!
